Chrisiana Care is a large and the dominant health care system for Northern Delaware. It provides a comprehensive suite of tranditional inpatient and outpatient services. Christiana Care Health System, headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, is one of the country's largest health care providers, ranking 21st in the nation for hospital admissions.

Millennium was implementing a new records-tracking system across several departments at one site. I conducted the needs assessment, and as part of the engagement, created the design concept for the training and performance support solution.

Millennium is a Takeda Oncology Company focusing on improving cancer treatment.

Since 45 roles had been defined with associated training requirements, associates needed a way to quickly locate and utilize their training checklists. Further, it was important to set the right tone for the project and direct associates to key resources.

The NemoursOne project implemented an inpatient EMR impacting all physicians and their treatment teams—approximately 2,200 associates—at the A.I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware. Training for the five Epic software modules consisted of approximately 35 WBTs and 15 ILTs embracing 45 roles with associated training roadmaps.

Patient handoffs between treatment team members pose a risk to patient care. Physician leaders created an effective model—START—and worked with me to create a convenient online offering. This course utilizes a variety of exercises, questions, and scenario-based instruction.

Physician leaders wanted residents rotating in the emergency department (ED) of the A.I. duPont Hospital for Children to be more effective sooner. They worked with me to create an online course that incorporated key knowledge building and a virtual tour of the ED.

The PICU at the A.I. duPont Hospital for Children wanted to improve their staff's use of the resuscitation flowsheet. I created an online course that utilized knowledge application through multiple exercises in the content of the flowsheet itself.

Being proficient in bronchoscope preparation is critical. It was discovered that some associates were unable to locate and setup bronchoscopes located in several areas of the hospital. The online course provides exercises and video demonstrations with voiceovers.

One of the most critical gaps in the Ambulatory Care Clinic was service recovery for dissatisfied families. The online course helps associates build conceptual and procedural knowledge which they apply in the subsequent live class and on the job.

Risk Management determined that many associates did not understand how the Alternative Dispute Resolution program operates at Nemours: they could not effectively offer or navigate the program for families. The online course provides an overview with exercises to build knowledge.

The NHPS division of Nemours was implementing an upgrade to their Goldmine CRM software. While not requiring all associates to attend an upgrade class, this Goldmine demo helps associates prepare to use the software and associated job aids and manual.

Nemours Health and Prevention Services (NHPS), a non-profit organization based in Newark, Delaware, works with families and community partners to help children grow up healthy. Its goal is to effect long-term changes in policies and practices that promote child health and to leverage community strengths and resources to have the greatest impact on the most children.

The PowerPoint interactive demonstration walks the user through each phase of setting up SSH Secure Shell, from installation to connecting with the server.

IT - User Services is tasked with supporting over 1,100 faculty who may publish web pages for courses and for collaboration. Often, it is more efficient to direct a faculty member to a self-paced module than to arrange a 1:1 consultation. This learning product provides self-directed instruction on the first steps of SSH Secure Shell which can be used to prepare the faculty member for a 1:1 consultation.
