Experiences
Since entering the workforce in 1984, I have been
deeply involved in teaching, training, and marketing.
My work as a school teacher and salesman
provide me with very diverse communication
and training experiences: I have worked with children
and adults of every age and personality type.
Whether it was teaching writing to second-graders,
assessing the engineering needs
of a power plant, or training employees on a software
package, my focus is people.
My 20-years plus of information technology
and multimedia experience gives me a measured
perspective to select the best tools to amplify
the benefits of my designs. For me, the design
comes first, not the technology.
There must be measurable progress; there must be
ROI.
Personal Qualities
I think my broad experiences have helped me become
a realistic idealist. Still, I am passionate and
motivated, open-minded, and flexible. I am always
trying to grow and learn from colleagues and clients.
As you may have guessed, I am quite organized and consistently
hit deadlines with good products. I enjoy collaborating
and working for organizations that are service-oriented
with a strong mission.
I am very easy to get along with, tactful, and have
a good sense of humor. Most of all, I enjoy helping
people do their work better by providing well-designed
learning systems. I listen. There is nothing I enjoy
more than a good design challenge and good teammates.
Again, welcome to my portfolio.
